The Biography of William Anderson
July 19th, 2009
For those who're interested, I was born in a little known place called Leonardtown, MD. http://leonardtown.somd.com
I was raised in a single parent household along with my younger brother. Although there are two years separating us, most people believe that my brother is older than I am because he's more goal oriented. My brother and I have been playing music together for years. I'm very proud of everything he's accomplished in life and it all started back in our early teenage years when he taught himself how to play guitar. He's really good!
As I've gotten a bit older, I've gotten married, have a two and half year old son, decided to give up the confusion of uncertainty, and decided to go back to school. I'm enrolled at Kaplan University as an IT (Information Technology)major, mainly because I like computers and with a Bachelor's Degree, the money can be good. During this particular term I'm taking:
- Psychology
- Introduction to Website Development
- Foundations of Programming Using VisualBasics
The ultimate goal of returning to school is to obtain my degree so that my wife can stay home with our son. She's helped out immensly during the recent difficult economic crisis so it's only fair that I pick up the slack after graduating.
I've lived in a lot of places over the years and worked since I was about 14 years old. I don't claim to know anything more than what I've personally experienced. I feel that true friends can be absent from your life for many years but if you pick up the phone to call, everything will be cool. Family can take it's toll on you but you must make sure to keep the lines of communication as open as possible no matter what. The best advice that I've ever received, the one that I still try my hardest to live by is, "Love your style, NO ONE does YOU the way YOU do. Never let anyone make you feel bad about who you are because they can't do what you do. Ever".
Music was my life... LOL
This heading is funny to me because music is still part of my life but not as big as it used to be. When my wife was pregnant we went through alot, spending most of her 10 months in the hospital. This caused me to become the proud owner of the worst writers block I've ever known. They say having a child changes your entire life and I'm a believer. I went from full fledged crowd rocker to rocking chair and bottles, but this kid is worth it all.
